Windmill Educational Gift Card
Terms and Conditions

1. The Windmill Educational gift card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card

2. The minimum amount required to activate the Windmill Educational gift card is $20 and the maximum amount that may be on a card is $1000 in our shops.  There are pre determined purchase amounts available online only.

3. You may use the Windmill Educational gift card to make purchases at the following Windmill Educational shops, online or by mail order.

4. The Windmill Educational gift card is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.  At the end of that period any unused balance on the card will be forfeited.

5. When you use the Windmill Educational gift card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance on the card. Change will not be given. The balance can be applied to future purchases.

6. You may obtain information about the remaining balance on the Windmill Educational gift card by contacting our Head Office on (03) 9877 5868.

7. You may only redeem your gift card against the purchase of items in Australian Dollars only.

8. The Windmill Educational gift card cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash or vouchers.

9. The Windmill Educational gift card always remains the property of Windmill Educational Pty Ltd.

10. Where the cost of the purchases exceeds the available card balance, the cardholder will be required to make up the difference between the purchase price and the gift card balance.

11. Refunds will not be given for the purchase of a Windmill Educational gift card except at the discretion of Windmill Educational Head Office.

12. The Windmill Educational gift card is like cash and Windmill Educational cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or damaged cards or for any unused amounts.

13. All refunds/exchanges of goods purchased with the Windmill Educational gift card will be made in accordance with Windmill Educational's refund policy. This does not affect your statutory rights.

14. Windmill Educational can cancel the value of the gift card if Windmill Educational fails to receive payment from the purchaser's bank or card company for the initial purchase of the card. Cancellation of the gift card  may take place where the fraudulent use of a credit card is suspected.

15. Windmill Educational reserves the right to add to or amend these terms and conditions from time to time, where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so for security, regulatory or other legal reasons. Adequate notice will be given where possible.

16. Windmill Educational reserve the right to refuse to accept a gift card in payment or part payment of any item where it reasonably suspects that the card or any amount on it may have been stolen or obtained in any illegal way.

17. In these items and conditions ‘Windmill Educational’ means Windmill Educational Pty Ltd.

18. In these items and conditions ‘gift card’ means Windmill Educational Gift Card.

Windmill Educational Rewards Card
Terms and Conditions

1. The Windmill Educational Rewards Program replaces the previous Windmill Educational redemption voucher.

2. The Windmill Rewards Card program is operated by Windmill Educational Pty Ltd. The Rewards card is available on request at any of our shops or upon completion of an application form either online or through our mail order catalogue. Customers requesting a Rewards card at one of our shops will be required to supply personal information. The Rewards card is valid in all shops owned by Windmill Educational.

3. All cards issued remain the property of Windmill Educational.

4. To earn Rewards Dollars:  Personal Shoppers: the Card must be presented before commencing a transaction. Online or Mail Orders: Fill in the Rewards card number online or on the Windmill catalogue mail order page.  Rewards Dollars will only be added at the time of the purchase and cannot be added at a later date.

5. Rewards Dollars are awarded on all purchases excluding Gift Vouchers. Other products may be excluded or included at the discretion of Windmill Educational.

6. The card member will receive Rewards Dollars on qualifying purchases which are currently calculated at the rate of 5% of every dollar spent.  Shopping Night Rewards percentages are calculated differently (please see below for more information).

7. To qualify for any redemption of accrued Rewards Dollars, the user must present their Rewards card when making a purchase at any of our shops or if buying online or through mail order, fill in their rewards Card number in the allocated area.  If purchasing by mail order or purchase order please inform us if you wish to accrue or redeem rewards dollars by making comment on the order form or purchase order, please also provide rewards card information including card number.

8. Suitable identification may be required to redeem Rewards Dollars at any of our shops.

9. Sale Items may be excluded at the discretion of Windmill Educational

10. Rewards Dollars can be redeemed against your next purchase.

11. Windmill Educational reserves the right to change terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.

12. Commercial buyers and resellers are exempt from the Windmill Educational Rewards program and therefore do not earn any Rewards Dollars on purchases. Commercial quantities are decided at the discretion of Windmill Educational.

13. Reward Dollars can be used in part.  Unused Rewards Dollars can be carried forward to the next purchase.

14. Windmill Educational Rewards Dollars are not redeemable for cash.

15. Unused Reward Dollars will not expire as long as customer holds a valid Windmill Educational Rewards membership.

16. If the name and address details on the member’s form are incomplete or inaccurate when joining, the customer may not receive Reward Dollars or be able to redeem Rewards Dollars.
If a person or institution changes their name or address Windmill Educational must be informed   at their earliest convenience.

17. Windmill Educational reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions, or suspend or terminate the Windmill Educational  Rewards Dollars program at any time. If the Rewards Dollars program is terminated (for whatever reason) the card member’s and any household member’s rights to earn or redeem Rewards Dollars are lost.  Windmill Educational will endeavour to inform customers with as much notice as it reasonably can. Redeeming Rewards Dollars will constitute acceptance of any amended terms and conditions.

18. If for any reason the Windmill Educational Rewards Dollars program is terminated, Windmill Educational, at its discretion, will allow individuals and institutions time to redeem Rewards Dollars, Head Office will need to be contacted to discuss this matter.

19. Individual Rewards Card accounts may be terminated at any time, at the discretion of Windmill Educational , where the card member breaches these Terms and Conditions or Windmill Educational  reasonably believes that the card member has abused the Windmill Educational  Rewards Card program, Windmill Educational  reserves the right to take any appropriate action deemed necessary where a card member is found to have abused the program. A card member may terminate his/her Windmill Educational Rewards Card at any time.

20. If the card member does not use their Windmill Educational Rewards Card for a period of 18 months or over, their Rewards Card account may be terminated.

21. Any printed statements issued by Windmill Educational regarding the Rewards Card and the conditions of use, as stated herewith or on any publications produced by Windmill Educational, form part of these Terms and Conditions of the Windmill Educational  Rewards Card program.

22. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

23. Rewards Dollars will be issued only after they have been verified by Windmill Educational. Windmill Educational is not liable for any time delay in issuing Rewards Dollars.

24. Windmill Educational reserves the right to change any terms & conditions without notice at anytime.

25. Windmill Educational Shopping Nights operate as follows;

Shopping nights Conditions

1. Any approved organisation can receive Rewards Dollars to the value of 10% of the total amount spent.

2. Participating customers can also receive up to 10% off the purchase price of items purchased.

3. A minimum of 10 people are required for a shopping night either online or in-shop.

4. Ten people will get a 5% discount off purchases; eleven to nineteen people will attract a 7% discount and twenty or more shoppers will receive 10% off purchases.

5. If more than 20 people attend a shopping night at one of our shops or online, the organisation can receive an additional reward allocation at the discretion of Windmill Educational.

6. Windmill Educational customers attending a shopping night in shop or online do not need to register for a Rewards Card for Rewards Dollars to be awarded to the nominated institution.

7. Shopping nights are designed to benefit Institutions and parents for the purpose of fundraising for a particular institution. A shopping night can be organised for a particular group of people not fundraising, at the discretion of Windmill Educational Pty Ltd.

8. Please note that when taking part in a shopping night online you will not see the % discount at checkout and if you are organising a central freight pickup point (at your institution), you will not see that discount either. These discounts (if applicable) will be applied once order is picked. We also do not charge c/c's until order is picked and finalised.
