Leonardo da Vinci developed concepts for a giant 'air screw' late in the 15th century. While today's scientists believe the design wouldn't fly, this model is a realistic scaled representation of his design. It includes da Vinci gears, a helical sail and a crank. It also integrates well with figurines and can be painted or oiled. Completed height 38cm. Age 8+.
